In 'this week's web design' I have a collection with 10 websites worth mentioning. I look to the design, the used technique and the idea behind a website. Recently I started adding HTML5 & CSS3 websites as well, mostly they'll work on all browsers, but if you use Internet Explorer as main browser, sometimes you won't see everything.

Almost two months ago I published a very funny and inspiring project called Grandmother Tips, made by Chacho Puebla a designer from Madrid, Spain. Last week it came to my attention that MarKts Covert made a more positive point of view of the grandmother tips and called it 'Techy Little Nephew Tips'. A few months ago I started the user interface series, which I will continue with at least one post a week. In close collaboration with Infomotor Martin Oberhäuser, a designer from Hamburg, Germany, developed the User Interface design for the new (browser based) business software Tickr. In todays photography post I have an inspiring series of Alice in Wonderland photos by Vilma Costa, a photographer from Lisboa, Portugal. The best thing about these photos for me is the lighting and composition. Through the whole set it gives a special feeling to the photos, which makes this one of the best Alice in Wonderland sets I've seen.
