People are resisting gravity every day, but some are trying hard and finding new ways to feel weightless. Antigravity is a project in which Mina Sarenac, photographer from Beograd, Serbia, tried to describe feelings of freedom, both physical and emotional. It connects ideas and dreams, fashion and extreme sports. The models were put in real environments, secured with climbing equipment, and the rope was removed in post production.
In design, as in any domain, there are certain preconceptions about what designers think and do. This is a collection of quotes that Anneke Short (the same designer who made these awesome music lyrics related posters) has either thought herself or that she has heard her designer friends say. Personally, she says, that the biggest preconceived idea is that a project will take however long it takes to sketch it up, whereas nine times out of ten, it is the concept and not the implementation that takes time. Hence 'just come up with a few quick logos' being a total oxymoron.

This awesome furniture is inspired by streamlined World War II fighter planes. Typical details of these designs: Clad in polished aluminum over a hardwood frame, detailed with a rounded frame, mitered at the corners, 4 fixed shelves offer ample room for storage and display, the aluminum has a matte finish that's lightly distressed for a vintage look. That last one makes it extra special; intentional nicks, dings, small scratches and other imperfections are to be expected and add to the character and uniqueness of each item. I have to say, extremely cool stuff, but you need to have some money to afford this ;).
Andreas Xenoulis, a graphic designer based in Athens-Greece recently designed this poster and after that tind did the printing proces. This is an awesome opportunity to look into the whole proces of designing and printing a poster because of the great photos they made. This poster is a typographic project made out of Bodoni letters being inspired by the female sensitivity. Bodoni is a series of serif typefaces first designed by Giambattista Bodoni (1740–1813) in 1798....
In our infographic series I publish infographics sent to me by some infographic-designers who visualize the most recent happenings into beautiful illustrations. This one is a little older (january 2012), based on extensive research from PC World on the busiest airports, as well as other data from the New York Times. With all of the tech devices we carry around today, it's no wonder that an outlet (or lack of one) could make or break a business trip. Fortunately, some airports and airlines are improving their tech amentities in an effort to keep you connected...
